4 cups of sugar
2 cubes butter
1 large package semisweet chocolate chips (12 oz)
2 cups nuts (totally optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 large can evaporate milk
- Mix sugar, milk, and salt in a large deep pan.
- Bring to a boil and boil until it reaches the softball stage stirring often.
- Remove from heat and mix in chocolate chips, butter, and nuts. Blending well.
- Pour mixture into a large dripper/cake pan and let stand until solid.
